Anyone who has ever sucked in a breath on planet Earth has wondered, at least once, “What happens after you die, when there is no more breath?” Steven Spielberg is about to give viewers of the SciFi Channel a glimpse into the possible answer to that mind-numbing question.

As we reported seveal months ago on one of our podcasts, SciFi Channel, writer Les Bohem, Dreamworks Television and Steven Speilberg are joining forces to bring to the small screen a 12-hour miniseries called ‘Nine Lives.’

Focusing on characters who have lost loved ones, the miniseries will take each of these grieving people to the brink of death themselves as they have near death experiences that allows them to be with their passed-on loved one. However, with each near death trip, they each come closer to a shadowy horror that is about to be experienced by all humanity.

Nine Lives is due to air on the SciFi Channel sometime in 2007.
