Principal photography for the next installment of Spidey begins this week.

Spiderman 3 will see the return of leads Tobey McGuire, Kirsten Dunst and James Franco.

The movie will be shot on location in New York City from May through September of this year.

Thomas Hayden Church (Sideways) is Sandman and Topher Grace (That 70’s Show) is cast as Venom.

Spidey 3 is slated for a May 2007 release.
