“Future” Rumor Put To Rest

December 21, 2005 By S. K. Sloan 4 Comments

Michael J. Fox has no plans to rev up the time-traveling Delorean one more time for a Back To The Future-4 feature.

This rumor had been flying around for awhile now and was put in print by the ContactMusic.com website that loves to spread these kinds of rumors. That is why we did not print it here. We were bitten once by this unreliable site, but never again – “Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me.”

“It’s the first I’ve heard of it!,” quips writer/producer Bob Gale, who maintains that the studio has never approached him nor director Robert Zemeckis to consider putting a fourth film together. But of course we are talking about Hollywood, so who knows, it could happen. Stay tuned!

Thank god. Good to know Zemeckis hasn’t total Hollywood.

Not to be negative, but doesn’t Fox have MS? And doesn’t that bode badly for a rigourous thing like making a movie? Just wondering.

Michael has been diagnosed with a type of Parkinson’s Disease, which is a neuromuscular disorder similar to MS but not the same. Also he is still very busy, mostly behind the camera these days, but he has done some stage work recently.

    Thanks for the clarification, Uncle!
Yeah, I think I heard somewhere that he was doing some stage work.
    Good on ‘im!
