NBC picks up Surface for a full season. That’s good news, the show is slowly building an audience. Glad to see NBC is giving it a chance.
CBS renews Jenifer Love Hewitt’s “Ghost Whisperer” for a full 22 episodes.
Graphic novel “Meet the Haunteds” is being tapped by NBC as a half-hour sitcom. No schedule date has been announced.
“The Fog” bumped “Flightplan” from the #1 box-office spot this past weekend. “Serenity” held at #12.
CBS destroys familiar landmarks in its upcoming “Category 7: The End of the World” miniseries. Premiering November 6, 2005, it stars Randy Quaid, Tom Skerritt, Gina Gershon, James Brolin, Swoosi Kurtz and Shannon Doherty. Look for the Eiffel Tower, Statue of Liberty, the Great Pyramids and Mount Rushmore (just to name a few) to be obliterated.
“DOOM” stars Karl Urban and Rosamund Pike have already signed on for a sequel. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has yet to commit to the project.
Stephen King announced on his Website that, to date, “Serenity” is now his favorite movie.

Adam Baldwin (Jayne on Serenity) will star in the NBC remake of “The Poseidon Adventure.”
