They say comets can take years to make their pass from the outer reaches of our solar system to their orbit around the sun. Well, the cult-movie classic, “Night of the Comet” will finally see its return in a sequel that has taken over 20 years to occur.
All three original cast members, Robert Beltran (Star Trek: Voyager), Kelli Maroney (Audition) and Catherine Mary Stewart (Weekend at Bernie’s) will return to reprise their roles. It will be interesting to see how much they were able to repopulated the Earth with humans after 20 years.

When I was just a boy growing up on the plains of Oklahoma back in the eighties, my parents bought a satellite dish. Not one of the little digital ones that they have today. I am talking about the big 10 foot diameter C-band satellite dishes. The first thing we ever watched on that monster was ‘Night of the Comet’. I hope the sequel is just as good.
