What Are They Doing Now?

August 4, 2005 By S. K. Sloan Leave a Comment

In a new periodic segment here on Slice of SciFi News we will be updating our readers on the wherabouts of some of their favorite sci-fi stars.

Today we feature Tim Russ (T’uvok) of Star Trek: Voyager fame. Tim was born in 1956 and originally hails from Washington D.C.

Tim will be providing the voice for the ‘Lone Gunslinger Vulture’ character in the soon-to-be-released Ice Age 2: The Meltdown movie. I was treated to an early preview of this flick and it will be a hoot.

Russ also recently directed a sci-fi short film entitled “Deja Vu.” Starring in it are some familiar Star Trek alumni, Garrett Wang (Ensign Kim) on Star Trek: Voyager and Chase Masterson (Leeta) on Star Trek: Deep Space 9.

Later this year you can catch Tim working alongside Danny DeVito and Parker Posey in the Fall Comedy release of “The OH in Ohio.” In 2006 Tim will have a part in the remake of the classic 1919 Horror Mystery entitled, “The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari.”
