Fan Film Review: “Star Wars – Revelations”

May 20, 2005 By S. K. Sloan 1 Comment

I just finished watching Shane Felux’s production of “Star Wars – Revelations.”

It is amazing what real talent can do with a paltry $20,000.00.

If you love Star Wars then you will fall head-over-heels for this feature.

Felux has done everything right to capture the look, feel and sound of George Lucas’ Star Wars universe, right down to R2D2 and that unforgettable voice of Darth Vader.

“Star Wars – Revelations” is done so well that after just a few minutes I completely forgot that I was watching a fan-flick on my computer. This feature could play on the big screen in any movie theater and stand on its own merit.

When the film was over and the credits were rolling by Felux left me with what any good seasoned director leaves their audience — WANTING MORE!

I encourage all fans of sci-fi to visit the “Star Wars – Revelations” website, download the film, open a big bag of popcorn and be ready to be transported into the new and exciting realm of high-class, finely-tuned fan-filmdom.

I give “Star Wars – Revelations” a rating of 5 out of a possible 5.

Mr. Sloan, I just came across your review and wow that is a true kindness you give us for “Revelations” (blush)

Thank you for such remarkable generous words as they do our hearts good. So many times I only read negative comments, I forget that some people might have actually liked our film. Thank you again for the support!

Myself “Revelations” is not my best work, and I know I can do better, but it was my first film and I am proud of what we accomplished with so little.
I am hoping we can do another film again and just try and grow and get better.. we shall see and I hope we can wow you again!
