This week, comics artist Prentis Rollins (DC’s Green Lantern, Supergirl, Batman) stops by to talk about his new book, “How to Draw Sci-Fi Utopias and Dystopias: Create the Futuristic Humans, Aliens, Robots, Vehicles, and Cities of your Dreams and Nightmares” (Monacelli Studio).
Prentis talks about his artistic influences (primarily H.R. Giger and Syd Mead), and the movies he saw as a youngster that made him want to start drawing scifi worlds of his own. He also talks about how people can get started as artists (or improve their skills if they’re already well on their way), about his enjoyment of The Walking Dead, and more.
