Still skeptical about the upcoming Robocop reboot?
Director Jose Padilha thinks you should be a little more optimistic.
According to his leading lady Abby Cornish, Padilha thinks the reboot will be a “classic” and is “kick-ass.”
“I actually have a voicemail message from Jose Padilha, the director,” Cornish said. “He says in the message, ‘I don’t think we’ve got a great movie. I think we’ve got a classic.’”
It’s good that Padilha is showing confidence in his reboot of the popular 80′s genre film, but is it too soon to call it a classic?
