First “Conan” Trailer Released

May 5, 2011 By Michael Hickerson 7 Comments

It’s a big day for trailers.  First was the new Green Lantern trailer and now we have the first trailer for the reboot of Conan the Barbarian.

The trailer comes to you via Yahoo! Movies, so we’ll warn you that readers outside North America may not be able to see it.

The reboot stars Jason Momoa, Ron Perlman (Hellboy), Rose McGowan, Stephen Lang and Rachel Nichols. It hits theaters August 19.

    ….okay! Looks fun!!
And even if it sucks, I get to watch Jason Momoa without a shirt for 2 hours – I call that a win! 🙂

First Camolot, then Game of Thrones, now Conan… It is the year or swords and sorcery. I love it!

Long trailer… I got a lot out of that and I’m optimistic that it will be worth the watch. Not in 3D of course.

Wow, that there is a serious crapload of CGI.

The original Conan was hardly high art either, no one should go watch this with high expectations.

I can only hope that the preview did not show all the good parts. It looks like it has possibilities…
