Jackson Credits Fans For Saving Fringe

Actor Joshua Jackson says fans of Fox’s Fringe deserve a lot of the credit for helping the show get a fourth season pick-up.

“The fans of the show saved us. They kept us going,” he tells E!’s Chelsea Lately.

Jackson cited a campaign of sending red vines to Fox executives as helping the show get a fourth season greenlight.

“[The fans] started a whole campaign sending Red Vines, which if you watch the show you know are sort of Walter’s happy place,” he explained. “They sent the Red Vines in to Fox, and I think that tipped it in our favor.”

Fringe returns Friday on Fox.

Twizzlers are a favorite of Mica in "Warehouse 13" and that show is going into it's 3rd season. Maybe if "Fire Fly" had a character who loved a particular candy, it might still be around, lol
