Over the weekend, rumors sprang up that singer Justin Bieber was being considered for a starring role in a remake of “Back to the Future.”
Before you yell, “Great Scott!” and go into a flurry of reboot rage, please don’t worry.
Not only is Bieber not slated to star in a reboot of “Future,” but there is currently no reboot of “Future” in the works. (And let’s just keep it that way!)
The rumor began with the UK’s Examiner, which cited several tabloids as its source. A bit of digging couldn’t unearth any other stories about it and the rumor has been debunked.

I think that's the first good thing I could say about him.
Would a new Back to the Future be going from about 2012 to 1982? That sounds pretty awful. The nostalgia factor just wouldn't work very well. I'm glad there is nothing in the works.
