Pinewood Studio Head “Sure” We’ll See More Bond

August 27, 2010 By Mike Hickerson 2 Comments

While we don’t yet know when we’ll see 007 in action again, Pinewood Studios chief executive Ivan Dunleavy says we will see Bond again.

Dunleavy says that despite the current financial woes at MGM, the British secret agent will grace screens again at some point.

“I am sure there will be another Bond movie in future,” he said.

Of course, whether or not we see Daniel Craig in the role remains up in the air. A lot of it depends on how and when things shake out at MGM.

These are just great popcorn movies. Great effects and Eye Candy.

I just hate how much James Bond has influenced Hollywood. People hate Hollywood action movies nowadays because they’re all Bourne and junk, with that terrible cinematography and people who bleed dust. There’s a very specific way to photograph and action movie, and I don’t think the Bond PG-13 sensibility has helped this: frenetic camerawork in lieu of fight choreography
