Singer and actress Miley Cryrus has been cast in the upcoming big-screen adaptation of “Wake.”
Based on a best-selling novel by Lisa McCann, “Wake” tells the story of a teenage girl who can be sucked inside the dreams of people around her. Inside, she can see things she isn’t meant to see.
“Wake” is the first of a trilogy of books and if the movie proves successful, it could turn into a franchise.

huh. Well Megan Fox can't act, yet you guys we're all over that when she was in Transformers. So whats the difference? People used to the same thing about Dakota Fanning, look at her now. Give her a chance, she's not that bad. You guys are always so one sided.

Someone said Dakota Fanning couldn't act? I thought the general consensus was child protégé. If anything it was creepy how well she could act at such a young age. The only question is if she could transition into an adult actor.
On the other hand, Cryrus has never been able to act. Not only that, she has baggage. The bad kind. And she isn't really eye candy like Megan Fox or robots. She looks like she is made out of plastic.
