Is Monagahan Returning to “Lost”

Is Monagahan Returning to “Lost”

September 15, 2009 By Mike Hickerson 3 Comments

As “Lost” gears up for its final season, the rumor mill is swirling on whether or not any or all of the casualties of the first five seasons might return on a guest-starring or regular basis for the upcoming season.

Actor Ian Somerhalder has confirmed that he will make an apperance on the final season.  And, for months, speculation has run rampant that actor Dominic Monaghan might make a return appearance as the deceased rock-star Charlie.

Monaghan was evasive when he talked about whether or not he was returning for the sixth season, saying that he has a good relationship with producer Damon Lindelof and that just because they’ve been seen chatting publicly doesn’t mean he’s coming back.

“I think a lot of times recently there’s been talk of us hanging out, and ‘Why would they be hanging out other than talking about ‘Lost’?'” he said, adding: “We had breakfast one time, and I think that was the reason why a lot of these ‘Lost’ rumors started.”

“Lost” returns to ABC in 2010.

Of course, when you’re at Comicon, and there is a Lost panel, and Dom joins the rest of them onstage briefly then leaves, it kind of tells people “Hey, something might be happening there.”

So, who is fueling these rumors?
