There will be more time to explore the wonders and mysteries of “Warehouse 13.”
SyFy has renewed the series for a second season of thirteen episodes reports SciFi Wire.
The series has been a solid performer for the newly rebranded network this summer, with 3.7 million viewers a week tuning in. It is also the number-one new series on Tuesdays this summer for adults 25-54, and it broke records when the fourth episode on July 28 delivered the most females (1.9 million) of any series telecast in Syfy’s history.
The series currently airs on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EST.
No word yet on when the next season will begin production or begin airing.
That’s good news.
It’s no BSG, but it is a nice, fun show that has been getting better as the season goes on.
I like how Warehouse 13 combines real historical figures and events in their stories. I want to see the series do more with Nikola Tesla.
It’s the most highly viewed series the network has ever had. Maybe that whole thing about appealing to a wider office paid off. It’s not a great show, but it’s good and I’ll keep watching.

It was worrying me to hear some people bitch and moan and talk about how the show hadn’t ‘grabbed’ them yet and how they hadn’t made up their minds yet etc.
What ever happend to letting a show find its feet?
The networks want shows that are a “hit” from the very first episode, and if the audience buys into that whole “it’s gotta have me from the very first episode or I’m not watching again” mentality, then we will never again see the likes of shows like “The X-Files”…which Warehouse almost reminds me of…but not quite, and that’s a good thing.
But these two people are absolutely NOT Mulder and Scully. And they shouldn’t be because we’ve already seen that.
In addition to the relationship between the 2 agents (please lord please don’t let them dial up the ‘sexual tension’ because that isht is so old), I’m loving the historical storylines. This is what makes the National Treasure movies so much fun for me.
The ‘Sy Fy’ (ech) re-branding almost made me leave the channel, but with shows like Eureka and now Warehouse 13, I’m likely to stick around.
They really do need to drop that wrasslin’ b.s. though.

I knew from my first review of the pilot that this series would catch on quick. Congrats to the cast and crew of Warehouse 13. Looking forward to seeing more of the show.
Warehouse 13 is such a dumb show…. The Librarian without Bob Newhart, The X-files without Jillian, Mental without Chris Vance, and some really bad scripts..
I can watch Warehouse 13 if I am washing dishes or folding T-shirts and sorting socks. Unless I am doing these or other mundane tasks I have better things to do with my time.
I have to agree that this show is adequate at best. It really speaks about the dumbing of the audience if this is the best show ever!!!!. WOW, this is not even close to being a good show. You know how it is going to end, it is a cheap rip-off of the Friday the 13th TV SERIES, NOT THE MOVIE, they even used the 13th part of the name, and if I miss it I would not go back to see it. If you recall on the FRI the 13th series it was an “evil” object of the week. This is the same thing. I do like the warehouse keeper but he is getting tiresome already as are the 2 SS Officers as this is a typical type casting of couples- blech!!!!.
Yay! Some of the scripts have suffered from the typical first-season awkwardness, but it’s a lot of fun. I’ll be interested to see where they take it in the next season.
In regards to the nikola tesla comment that would be awesome especially if they got the Tesla from sanctuary to appear since essentially the vampire blood on sanctuary would be an artifact I would like to see what they would do in that situation lol.
