Actor Michael Chicklis (“The Shield,” “Fantastic Four”) has signed a deal with IDW Publishing to develop a new graphic novel, “Olympus.” Based on an idea by Anny Simon Beck, the series will tell the story of ancient Greek gods who return to a ravaged, chaotic present-day Earth where they battle for the future of mankind against the Titans. Chiklis’ production company, Extravaganza Productions, is overseeing the books, which it hopes to develop into film, TV or video-game properties.
For years, fans have clamored for “Doctor Who” in HD. And for years, the production team has said the cost associated with the special-effects intensive nature of the “Who” episodes prohibited it. Now comes good news. The BBC reports that starting with “Planet of the Dead,” this year’s four specials will be filmed in HD.
Speaking of “Doctor Who,” the eleventh Doctor Matt Green will star with Eva Green of “Casino Royale” in the upcoming furturistic drama, “Womb.”
Â
The film is the English-debut of Hungarian director Benedek Fliegauf and tells the story of a grieving widow, played by Green, who decides to clone her late husband, played by Smith.
Director David Nutter, who has helmed memorable episodes of a lot of popular TV shows including “The X-Files” and “Supernatural” will direct the pilot for ABC’s “The Witches of Eastwick.”
And last, but not least is a story that has some SPOILERS for “Supernatural”

E! On-Line’s television columnist Kristen reports that a third Winchester brother will show up before the fourth season of “Supernatural” comes to a close. Jake Abel has been cast as third brother, Adam, who will make his first appearance in an episode in April.
Citing anonymous sources, the column reports that Jake will appear in only one episode and is not expected to be seen again.
As first reported by TV Guide, Adam is the result of an affair that Sam and Dean’s father, John (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), had while on one of his demon hunts. He knew about the boy’s existence but never told Sam and Dean.
