The sequel to Rob Zombie’s “Halloween” will open in August, according to Dark Horizons. As we previously reported here on Slice of SciFi, the new movie, called “H2” will pick up moments after Zombie’s original “Halloween” remake concluded.
The sequel is expected to follow the aftermath of Michael Myers’ killing spree from the first film.
The first Zombie-directed “Halloween” project opened in late August and set a box-office record for the Labor Day holiday weekend. It appears the studio is looking to capture lightning in a bottle again with the second film, which will open on August 28th.
Filming for the sequel begins in March.
The Shock ‘Til You Drop blog has a preview of the new mask Myers will wear in the film.
