Sorbo to Star in “The Illuminati”

Pre-production has started on the sci-fi action thriller, “The Illuminati,” starring Kevin Sorbo and directed by David Winning (”Andromeda,” “Stargate: Atlantis,” “Earth: Final Conflict”) which will shoot in Canada in Spring 2009. The original screenplay was written by Mark Sevi (”Scanner Cop II,” “Pterodactyl,” “Arachnid”). The film will be produced by Elizabeth Fowler of Clear Pictures Entertainment.

Manifest Games has started production of a comic book and video game version of “The Illuminati” and the 1st edition of the comic will be released during the 2009 San Diego Comic-Con.

“The Illuminati” is based on an actual centuries old secret society that many believe still exists in the form of a shadow government that secretly controls world events. Kevin Sorbo plays a top lluminati assassin who defects and is now a free agent killing machine.
