Got a minute? Watch a horror movie

October 22, 2008 by Michael Hickerson   || Category: Film News

With Halloween a little over a week away, you may have the Netflix queue full of classic horror films.  But with Halloween parties, fighting of the gnome invasion and constant trick-or-treaters at  the door, who has two hours to sit down for some chills and thrills?

What if you only have a minute or so in your busy day?

Well, the good news is that FearNet can help you.  The website is featuring a 66.6 Second Film Festival to give audiences a chance to experience some of the greatest horror movies ever made in just over a minute.  Included on the list are “Evil Dead 2,” “Candyman,” “Night of the Living Dead,” “Leprechaun,” “Nightmare of Elm Street 2″ and “Hostel.”

The movies are distilled down to their essential elements and while it may not give you the full blood-curdling experience, it is a good way to get an overview of a few genre classics.
