Wizard’s First Rule stars revealed
Producer Sam Raimi revealed the stars of his upcoming Wizard’s First Rule according to the Hollywood Reporter.Â
Craig Horner will star as Richard Cypher and Bridget Regan will play the role of Kahlan. The characters join forces to stop an evil ruler in this small-screen adapation of the best-selling fantay series The Sword of Truth by Terry Goodkind.
Horner, an Australia native, recently co-starred on the Australian series Blue Water High. Regan recently co-starred in the Broadway comedy Is He Dead?
Filming is set to begin later this month in New Zealand for 22 to episode to air this fall in syndication. The Hollywood Reporter reports that the show will be shown in 95% of all markets in the United States.
Raimi is executive producing with Robert Tapert, Joshua Donen, Ned Nalle and John Shiban.
I am so excited about this! Horner looks a little babyface to play Richard though . . . maybe he can beef up a bit.
