Sarah Connor “lead candidate” for renewal
Good news for fans of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Kevin Reilly, the president of FOX Entertainment, said in a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter that the freshman series is one of two “lead candidates” for renewal.
“We’ve already started staffing on Sarah Connor,” Reilly told the Reporter. “Although it was an unusual season, it will end up finishing by far and away the strongest new drama of the season. Other shows have not gotten the traction. Just because competition is softer doesn’t mean audience has to watch a show.”

Twilight author Meyer praises big-screen adaptation
Stephenie Meyer, author of the best-selling Twilight series for young-adults, wrote that fans of the series may “swoon” over the big-screen adapation of her popular novel.
Meyer recently visited the set and reported that actors Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are “channeling” Bella and Edward from the novel, adding “you might want to bring a paper bag to the movie, because their on-screen chemistry may cause hyperventilation.”
Meyer wrote that during the filming of a pivotal scene near the end of the story “the girl next to me literally slid right out of her chair — I think her bones melted. She also may have stopped breathing for a few seconds, too. I know I did.”
Twilight is the story of Bella, a seventeen-year-old girl who moves to Forkes, Washington to live with her father. She meets the mysterious Edward Cullen, who is a vampire and the two fall in love. The big-screen adaptation is set to open in theaters next year.
