Sanctuary in HD

August 22, 2007 By Sam Sloan 5 Comments

sanctuary-poster.jpgThe hit online series “Sanctuary,” starring “Stargate: SG-1” headliner Amanda Tapping is now also available in hi-def at Vuze, as well as the official Sanctuary For All Website.

The landmark series created by Damian Kindler, with several episodes directed by Martin Wood debuted back in May and can already boast of over a half a million downloads.

Now Vuze, the online portal from Azureus, is offering all episodes of “Sanctuary” in the high definition format. Of course the series is still available in standard definition at Sanctuary For All.

Eh? It’s been available in HD, albeit 720 instead of 1080 as everyone was hoping, as well as SD since its launch on the Sanctuary for All website. I have them all on my media server.

Sam, I think Taomyn’s point is that your first sentence:
“The hit online series “Sanctuary,” starring “Stargate: SG-1″ headliner Amanda Tapping is now available in hi-def.”

is misleading. Maybe it should say:
“The hit online series “Sanctuary,” starring “Stargate: SG-1″ headliner Amanda Tapping is now available in hi-def at Vuze.”

I have all the episodes released on HD and have been able to get them since the second episode was released. The article makes it sound like they have not been available in HD until very recently. This just isn’t true and makes the folks over at Sanctuary For All sound like they are not with the times.

Thanks, exactly my point, but sorry I myself was very clear.

Which reminds me, I still haven’t watched webisode 6…..
