The original Bionic Man could make a return to the small-screen this fall.
Lee Majors has been cast opposite Jamie Kennedy in the comedy pilot “Me & Lee.” Majors would play himself in this single-camera comedy series that would air on FOX if given a series order.
Kennedy plays a man suffering from chronic backpain who is referred to Majors. Kennedy’s character under goes “bionic” back surgery in the basement of Majors’ mansion. It seems that Majors became obsessed with bionics after his hit series “The Six Million Dollar Man” was cancelled.
No, you’re not being “X-ed.” This pilot is really in production and could see the light of day on FOX this fall. Of course, we don’t expect to see the pilot until late in the series run since this show would air on FOX.
At the London premiere for series three of “Doctor Who,” executive producer Russell T. Davies confirmed that the hit-series would be back for a fourth series.
“Series four is officially existing. I’m very excited, but we have known for ages,” said Davies.
Davies stopped short and did not confirm that lead actor David Tennant would be back in the role of the Doctor.
When asked about returning the role, Tennant told reporters, “”Do you know how many times I have been asked that question? Do you know how many times I have answered it?”
The new series of “Doctor Who” debuts Saturday, March 31 on BBC1.
