WWW — Wagner Wonder Woman?

January 18, 2007 By Sam Sloan 6 Comments

jillwagner.jpgjillshooting.jpgAnother name, in a long list of them, has been thrown into the — “Can you guess who Joss wants for Wonder Woman?” — ring. Ex-“Blade: The Series” star Jill Wagner was recently called in to talk the idea over with Joss and the folks over at Silver Pictures about just that possibility.

Here is how Jill answered a question from FlickDirect regarding any future projects we may see her in:

FlickDirect: What other roles are slated for you in the future? Any big screen rolls coming up?

Wagner: I would would love to do a movie with an Urban Cowboy feel to it, I am reading one right now, so who knows. I met with the guys over at Silver pictures about some things and Wonder Woman was one of them.

It’s a fairly short interview, and seems to have been done soon after the Blade series was cancelled by SPIKE TV. This one instance was the only Wonder Woman comment she makes in the discussion.

That might work, but I’d rather see her continuing her role on “Blade: The Series”. But as it was stated, that series has been cancelled.

When I first read the headline, my first thought was “Isn’t Lindsay a little old for the part?”, but then caught the pics. Much better!

If Wagner plays Wonder Woman, then they’re going to have to find an actor named Carter to play Steve Trevor, in order to keep the Carter – Waggoner thing going.

WW should be an unkown. Perhaps a young greek gal, provided she has a huge stack on her. Plus no one but Lynda Carter should fill the role of Queen Hypolatta!
