A few dozen? Count me as one. When James mentioned 13 million downloads, I was wondering where the hell I’ve been for the past three years. When it was mentioned in the Slice news I immediately went and checked it out – and *loved it*. How I missed this thing is so far beyond me I’m almost questioning my existance.

A few days ago I sat my 6 year old down in front of the computer and played the first two episodes for her.

By the end of the second episode she was a fan too. She loves it. The zombie hand in Cerebus’s face during the car chase was a big hit. 🙂 She also loves ‘Fosters’ and ‘Billy and Mandy’ so I suppose it’s a natural progression.

She was a little odd about the Xombie thing at first, but once she saw Dirge as a caring and wholesome ‘person’ she was fine with the rest.

Oh yeah.. and ‘Dead Can Dance’ music? Excellent.

    James,
If you drop by the comment area here, I wish you continued success. As for t-shirts don’t forget the kid’s sizes – it’s go great with my kid’s Ramone’s shirt. 😉

It’s a good thing nobody set up wagering, because I would have bet $50 that Mike would have been the first one to call him “Jamie Farr.”

I may have to relisten, but I believe this was the show where Evo stated that he has never seen “Star Blazers!” Evo, you are no longer my hero, but Summer IS! Actually, she was already, but I digress.

Star Blazers was the first Japanese TV show that turned me on to what that country had to offer as far as comic books and televion. While I have not seen anything that even comes close to Akira from Japan, Star Blazers was a great show that helped shape my love for sci-fi while in junior high.
