Great show guys. Since you asked, ‘Dr. Who’ is on BBC1 here in the Uk. BBC1 doesn’t have breaks during shows, at all.

Australia doesn’t look -that- much smaller than the US. It’s entirely possible that he’s going to come to the US to see more… desert.

    Contest Clarification:

Your task, should you choose to accept it, is to figure out the original source for the song played on the air.

It’s not as easy as you might think…

Summer: Australia is actaully the same size as Australia , we just have more desert than you guys…. but we wouldnt know it, as we dont live in the desert, we just all hang on the coast and bushland.

EVO: Dr who in Australia (on the ABC, Australian Broadcast Corp) shows all of DR who in 54 min blocks, and there are no ad breaks, or any ads of a commerical kind on the ABC period. However we have no SCI Fi channel, slow broadband, and any sci fi shows we do get, are shown at midnight with ads (unless its dr who).

FIREFLY Question for summer: Is it true that Joss can not make any Tv series of Firefly due a standing contract with Fox studios? This is why he is only going to make movies?

OK – so I haven’t listened to this week’s show yet, but I was excited to see that Mark Gunn was on and now I’m so stoked to listen! I listen to the Celtic Music News podcast and have heard Mark’s promo for Celtic Music mp3 magazine (which I tried to subscribe to but the service was down – note to self: go subscribe). Anyway! I’m sure it’s great as usual!!

    Highlander 19 the movie?

I’m not surprised, Hollywood seems to have totally run out of original ideas. I think that’s why we are seeing remakes of remakes, and remakes of TV shows and more remakes.

It would be nice if they would look for some new screenwriting blood. Hey, why not make Earthcore into a movie?

Fay Wray died on 8/8/2004, according to the Internet Movie Database. There are too many commercials on some podcasts, like yours. If you want some more details about filk music, please check out my page about Roberta Rogow.
