Bootlegged CD’s of “Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith” were being made available for unauthorized sale on Bejiing’s streets just days after the film premiered in China.
After “Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith” opened across China on Thursday high quality pirated disks were selling by Sunday.

The final chapter of the “Star Wars” movie saga grossed a record $50 million from its first 24 hours in North American theaters, the highest box office tally for a single day, according to studio estimates issued Friday.

According to the newswire at The Futon Critic, SciFi Channel has acquired the syndication rights to Firefly and will begin airing the show as the lead-in to their SciFi Friday original programming, begining July 22, 7pm Eastern. (3rd paragraph down)
