Actors Gwilym Lee and Carolyn Bracken stop by to chat about Oddity, the new horror thriller from IFC Films and Shudder, out in theaters July 19.

Gwilym talks about his approach to portraying Ted and enjoying playing a character with dark hidden motives, and Carolyn talks about her approach to playing the twin sisters Dani and Darcy, and how the curio shop full of haunted items leads her on a twisted path of vengeance.

They also talk about working with an inanimate object that has it’s own sense of presence…

Written & directed by Damian McCarthy, this tense, quiet suspense-horror feature may be the surprise movie of the summer season. I’d love to see more films in this “Irish gothic” vein.
