Author & teacher Maurice Broaddus stops by to talk about Black Panther: T’Challa Declassified: Notes, Interviews, and Files from the Avengers’ Archives, the latest entry in the Declassified series from Smart Pop Books.

We talk about the importance of T’Challa and Black Panther, in the comics pantheon and to the broader Black community,

If you enjoy the deepest of dives into iconic comics characters, this series is just for you. So far, the series also has volumes on Iron Man: Tony Stark Declassified, and Captain America: Steve Rogers Declassified, both by Dayton Ward and Kevin Dillmore.

I am very curious if they’ll also do “Declassified” books on Black Widow, Hulk, Thor, Ant-Man & Wasp. I also wonder if they’d expand the series to include other members from the 70s and 80s teams like Falcon, Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, Vision, Hawkeye, Captain Marvel (both Carol Danvers and Monica Rambeau) and Wonder Man.
