Reviewing “Doomed! The Untold Story of Roger Corman’s The Fantastic Four” The rarely seen feature has become an underground cult favorite over the years

October 12, 2016 By Noah Richman and Daren Gulsvig 1 Comment

The documentary “Doomed! The Untold Story of Roger Corman’s The Fantastic Four” is out now on VOD, and it goes into great detail about how the film was rushed through production simply to maintain their hold on the rights to The Fantastic Four, else the rights revert to Marvel.

Noah and Daren enjoyed the documentary, and thought while it tends to repeat in places, there’s no denying the excitement that the cast had in making this, and how they truly believed that this film was going to be released.

Intriguing, informative film. I do agree that it was too bad the “other side” of the table declined to comment, save Roger Corman.

I think all of us would have liked to have heard more about the other deals being negotiated behind the scenes while the film was being made and buried.
