“Star Trek Into Darkness” Blu-Ray Details Released

“Star Trek Into Darkness” Blu-Ray Details Released

July 11, 2013 By Mike Hickerson 3 Comments

Star Trek into Darkness is coming home on Blu-Ray and DVD on September 10th.  But fans can see it at home a month earlier via digital download on August 20th.

The Blu-Ray special features, which for the first time were filmed entirely in-house at Abrams’s production company Bad Robot, will include behind-the-scenes featurettes that expand on individual elements of the film.

Among these are ‘Creating the Red Planet’, ‘The Klingon Home World’, a featurette discussing the secrecy around Benedict Cumberbatch’s villain, and another demonstrating how Cumberbatch and Zachary Quinto trained for their fight sequence towards the end of the film.

How exactly has he ruined the Klingons? They had some off screen time and were mentioned a few times in the first movie. Their scenes were left on the cutting room floor of said first movie. In the second movie they have maybe 10 to 15 minutes of screen time. The only difference between JJ’s Klingons and the previous versions are the helmets but other than that they are pretty much the same.

I read the production company name as “Bad Reboot.”
