Director Sam Mendes could be back at the helm for the next Bond movie.
According to Deadline, the director is in talks to direct the upcoming twenty-fourth installment in the long-running franchise.
Mendes had previously said that he would not return for the follow-up to his record-breaking film, saying that he had decided to focus on other projects.
This week, Nicolas Winding Refn, Ang Lee and Shane Black have all been reported to feature on a shortlist for a replacement director.
Craig is expected to have director approval following the success of his previous three movies.
