Keri Russell Joins “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes”

Keri Russell will take the female lead in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. She will be playing opposite Andy Serkis, Jason Clarke, Kodi-Smit McPhee and Gary Oldman.

While at this time we don’t have any further details on her role, we do have some information about the film. The story will follow Caesar (Serkis), the intelligent ape, trying to maintain dominance over his kingdom, and the researchers trying to survive in this apocalyptic future. Word is that Dawn will pickup the story 15 years after the events of Rise of the Planet of the Apes.
