Actor Will Poulter, recently in The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, has been offered one of the leads in the film adaption of the YA distopian book The Maze Runner. Wes Ball is listed as director for the adaptation of the James Dashner novel.
The story revolves around Thomas, a young man who has his memory wiped and is deposited with other boys trapped in an enormous maze. He discovers that they are part of a mysterious test and joins the “maze runners” in an attempt to lead them to freedom.
