As much as I love any and everything Star Trek and would give my left gonad to be a crew member of the Enterprise under either Kirk or Picard’s command, it’s Serenity all the way for me. You don’t get much better than Captain Mal Reynolds and that quirky crew (pre death of Book & Wash).

Given this is an internet poll, no doubt the Firefly fans will put Serenity at 1…..

It was tough for me between Babylon 5 and Moya, but I chose Moya because she not only is a sentient ship, but she’s loyal too. But I would still love to spend some time on Babylon 5 drinking with Londo or trolling the psicorp cops 😛

although Firefly is my favorite of the shows, as a fan of the show, i know i would NEVER want to be a crew member. those poor sons of bitches get in more trouble than any other crew in the ‘verse. you’re just asking for it if you sign up with mal and friends. i chose federation ship because it’s the safest of the bunch, and you still get to “explore strange new worlds”, yadda yadda.

For me it was either Moya or the Lexx for me. As far as living ships go. It has to be Lexx.

I know y’all might find this astounding, but…no Satellite of Love, from MST3K?! Talk about a chill place to hang: “if you’re wondering how he eats and drinks, and other science facts, repeat to yourself ‘It’s just a show, I should really just relax.'”

It’s Serenity, So I can be with Kaywinnit Lee Frye.

I’m with a few others in that Serenity is my favorite – but being a crew member on a Federation ship has the odds in my favor of surviving the longest.

Again, I refer you to the Satellite of Love. How many crew fatalities in ten years? Zero, my friends, ZERO.

    What, no TARDIS?

    Tardis. Hands down.

Have to agree with the non option here. The TARDIS.

I picked Serenity because Helva was not listed.

Don’t understand why anyone would pick a Federation ship . . . it’s like joining a big corporation, and becoming an insignificant cog in same.

Plus there are all them rules, regulations, directives . . . not to mention the ugly uniforms.

Since the Tardis wasn’t part of this poll, I’ll have to go with Serenity, not that that’s hardly a consolation prize. There is something very appealing about living on the ragged edge with only a bug-nuts crazy family to rely on. Make mine Firefly. 🙂

Normally I’d give anything to fly the ‘verse with ‘Serenity’, however a chance to crew my first love, the last of the Babylon stations is just too good to pass up! “And so, it begins…”
