Which Show Had the Best Season?

Which Show Had the Best Season?

May 26, 2011 By News Droid 9 Comments

May sweeps are over and that means that many of our favorite shows have wound down their seasons. Looking back over the past season as a whole, which show do you think had the best season?

Please note: We have not included Game of Thrones or Doctor Who in the list because they are still running.

This is tough because several shows had an outstanding season including The Big Bang Theory, SGU, both versions of Being Human and of course Chuck. But I voted for Fringe, because, let’s face it, nothing on TV today can top this show for consistent grab your ass entertainment.

SGU and Fringe are pretty close but my bias toward space ships wins. I don’t watch any of those other shows.

Loved the Event and SGU. Event wins because I want it back. SGU, sadly, I know wont be back so misses my vote.

This was hard. As usual Fringe is phenomenal. I just luv Walter but I voted for the British version of Being Human because this may be the last season that I enjoy. ??No Vampire??

The Cape!!!! Are you kidding me????

The Cape had a good season with some great unachieved potential. That being said, its not better than Fringe, SGU, Big Bang Theory, and most others listed. The Event had far more problems than The Cape.

Fringe is definitely my #1! SGU, being #2.
The Big Bang Theory and Chuck close for #3 and #4.

Haven’t seen Being Human (British Version) or Being Human (American Version).

Waiting for Season 10 DVD for Smallville!

    The rest I don’t watch.

Another show that I loved (not sci-fi) was The Chicago Code! They had a great season as well, but got the axe.

Yeah, but I never saw any of that potential like I did with say, “Firefly”.
    For me.

1.) SGU, not even close for me.
    2.) Fringe
    3.) Chuck
    4.) The Big Bang Theory

Supernatural continues to deliver. This season had one of the best episodes in the series with “Weekend at Bobby’s”. I am super excited with the season ending and the story lines for next season.

Chuck delivered again. The show just knows what to do. Always enjoyable.

Fringe had one of the worst episodes in my opinion. The episode where peter is at visiting his dad and fighting with his mom ruined almost the entire series for me. There is just no way that he and Olivia wouldn’t have remembered something like that. Annoyed me to no end.

This was a very difficult call for me as I love both SG:U and Fringe, but towards the end SG:U wins because it had one episode with an amazing amount of heart and emotional content (where we see through recorded footage how the alternate crew of the Destiny built their society). That is an episode which I will love dearly forever!!!
