It kicks off the question of “Um, what could they do next year to top that opening?” However, it’s difficult to judge based on Part 1. They did give us several things to keep thinking about and juggle while Moffat pulls off his standard jiggery-pokery in the background. I already have theories on who’s inside the suit at the start of the episode… I will not spoil.
