Slice of SciFi has teamed up with A&E once more for the “Out of This World” Giveaway. The prize pack is comprised of the following four History Channel series on Blu-Ray:

Ancient Aliens: Season 1 (Blu-Ray)
Is it possible that intelligent life forms visited Earth thousands of years ago, bringing with them technology that drastically affected the course of history and man’s own development? Produced with the exclusive cooperation of von Daniken himself, ANCIENT ALIENS launches all-new expeditions to seek out and evaluate this evidence, with a concentration on discoveries of the last 30 years, including unusual DNA findings on mans evolution and newly decoded artifacts from Egypt to Syria to South America. It is a balanced investigation into a theory some believe cannot be true, but many agree cannot be ignored.

Life After People, The Series Season 2
Welcome to Earth: Population 0. If humans vanish from the face of the earth, what happens to the world we leave behind? HISTORY offers another amazing glimpse of what that might look like. Expert engineers, biologists, geologists and archeologists create scenarios while CGI effects present haunting views of our planet’s future. What will happen to our iconic structures? What creatures will take our place? Will our garbage outlive us by one million years? When the imprint of man has faded, LIFE AFTER PEOPLE explores the humbling and fascinating possibilities.

The Universe Season 5
Journey back to the beginning of history on a mind-blowing adventure through space and time. Using stunning HD graphics, THE UNIVERSE transports viewers past the wonders of our own solar system and out to the bizarre far-flung reaches of the cosmos. From death stars to ringed planets, star clusters to space wars, THE UNIVERSE uses new discoveries and more advanced CGI to help explain the mysteries of outer space.

How the Earth was Made Season 1
From the Great Lakes to Iceland, the San Andreas Fault to Krakatoa, HOW THE EARTH WAS MADE travels the globe to reveal the physical processes that have shaped some of the most well-known locations and geological phenomena in the world. With rocks as their clues and volcanoes, ice sheets, and colliding continents as their suspects, scientists launch a forensic investigation that will help viewers visualize how the earth has evolved and formed over millions of years.

That’s right — one lucky winner will receive all four of these sets on Blu-Ray.

This contest begins March 19 and runs until midnight Pacific on April 2.

Please put “Out of This World” in the subject line, and include the code phrase found in Slice of SciFi Show #307

Along with the answer to the question, please don’t forget to include your name and shipping address in the body of the email. And don’t forget our new rules–one entry, per person. Multiple entries will not be accepted!

This contest is only open to our listeners in the US only.

NEW RULES: One entry per person PERIOD. Enter once, and once only… your adherence to the new regs will keep the gnomes off your front lawn.
