The Event was the only one I watched. SGU is on the DVR.

Don’t care. SGU sucked, and The Event went nowhere. Dropped them both after a few episodes.

I like them both….equally. Needed that choice in the poll.

I watched return of The Event last night. I thought it was pretty good. Except for the original SG movie, I’ve never watched any of the SG shows.

Both are still on the DVR. We were watching Farscape on DVD. I actually forgot SGU was on last night and saw it was being recorded before we went to bed. Thank goodness for the DVR.

I’m not sure I care about The Event. It was dragging it’s ass for the first half of the season and we only watched it because it wasn’t actually crap.

SGU will be the first thing watched tonight.

What really pissed me off was that there was no Chuck!

Gave up on the EVENT after about three episodes.

I was watching The Chicago Code .. then SGU.

I watched and enjoyed both, dvr’ing Chicago Code. But I enjoyed The Event by a fairly decent margin. SGU was enjoyable, particularly Rush, though.

From the Pilot I’m pretty sure the Event isn’t my cup of tea. SGU is classic science fiction. Last nights episode came together nicely with great Eli thinking of stuff nobody else does moments and realistic funny moments from Rush. Shed a tear for the Ursini.

Of course SGU… but comparing the two, or pitting them against one another is silly. They are two different types of sci-fi. So while I enjoy SGU more, I like The Event for what it is.

I’m not caught up in my own geek-snobbery.

Although SGU didn’t have a particularly strong episode, it was still better than the Event.

I was literally shouting at the screen at the obtuse guy searching the Alaskan Governor’s Office . Even if there were sensitive documents, he shouldn’t let the person alone. At the very least he should have watched her. Ugh

    I watched a great show “SG:U”, not a so-so show “The Event”

Neither – I was watching Top Gear on BBC America. . . .

I think that SGU is by far the better show, with that said, if The Event were to ramp things up alooooottttt; it might be worth keeping…

Ummm I’m gonna go with neither.

I thought they were both great.

The Fates chose for me…my dvr did not record ‘The Event’ for some techy glitch, but did manage to record ‘SG:U’.

I guess it even knew which was the more watchable show.
