Bridges Intersted in “Starman” Sequel?

December 22, 2010 By Mike Hickerson 6 Comments

We waited 28 years for a “Tron” sequel.

So what other roles might actor Jeff Bridges be interested in revisiting?

“The Dude [from The Big Lebowski] would be nice, I don’t think that’s in the cards. Starman, I always wondered what happened there? That’s kind of set up. Karen Allen is preggers. She’s got that little ball and stuff. What’s up with that? You know what I mean,” Bridges say while promoting “True Grit.”

So, could a sequel happen and would fans be interested?

The original was really good so any follow up would have to do it justice. I did enjoy the TV series for the short time it was on. Would a sequel even have to use Bridges anyway since Starman’s body was essentially borrowed (if it included him as well as Allen’s character and the child)? Maybe that ship has sailed due to the amount of time it’s been since the original. Different actors perhaps.

This movie was on TV Thursday Feb. 24th. I remembered it straight away as it made an impact first time round. I think a sequel would be amazing centred around the baby grown up with some of his dad’s genes and powers.

    Bring it on!!!!

I wonder if they’d include or ignore the events of the short-lived TV series…
