Could Springfield’s favorite family be headed back to a theater near you?
It’s possible says “Simpsons” producer James L. Brooks. He revealed that producers are “open” to the possibility of another movie, but added that the first film was tough.
“It was much harder than we anticipated. It took us a year to try and get to the point because we’re all so scared of ‘What are we going to do to the Simpsons?’ and ‘What if the movie is no good?’,” he says. “We were all so scared about that and I thought it took us a solid year of looking at each other to get to the point where we can get to the point where we don’t give a s**t.”
“We have a beginning notion if we want to do it, but the series always comes first with us. The series is always primary to us,” he adds.

If and when they do a second movie, it has to be about Scorpio since that’s the closest thing we may get to a James Bond movie for a while.
Wait, they say the series comes first, yet the movie was the best Simpsons I’d seen in half a decade.
I think it should be Treehouse of Horrors, the motion picture.
