Beginning Saturday, August 23, 2008 and running until midnight Pacific time September 13, 2008 Slice of SciFi is offering the “Shadows Light” DVD for giveaway.
“Shadows Light” is a supernatural thriller/horror film that brings to life the first adventure of Father Cuth Abelard. Following a gruesome exorcism, Father Abelard is given a leave of absence to return to Concord, Kentucky, his hometown, for some rest and relaxation. There is little rest, as many highly aged people are being discovered across the city in the last throws of death. They are unidentifiable, furthering frustrating Concord authorities, but not entirely fooling Father Abelard. Investigating the mystery, he discovers powerful demonic forces at work within the city’s most powerful and elitist members.
“Shadows Light” is the full film feature debut of young director Stephen Zimmer, who the guest for Slice of SciFi show #175.
