Slice of SciFi #163: Voicemail Show

June 6, 2008 By Summer Brooks 8 Comments

This is the show for our inquiring fans and listeners and their voicemails, emails. We want to hear your comments and feedback… No, really, we do! Pay no attention to how much Mike grumbles about them…you know – that guy sitting in the dark corner with all the knobs and switches.

This week, Mike, Summer, Brian, Tim, Krazy Joe and CA respond to the questions and comments posed by your voicemail submissions, and once again HERE THERE BE SPOILERS!!

My God, it’s full of gnomes.

Listener comments: If you have any suggestions or comments, please let us know. Keep your comments brief, or funny, and maybe you’ll hear your message on the voicemail show! See you next week with fresh new content.

OK, I made my two voicemails a whole day apart. Why were they played together? In fact, you guys always sem to play all of mine at once, and to be honest I don’t think that’s wise. I’m easier to take in small doses. 😉

Now I know why there aren’t any gnomes in the D&D 4th edition Player’s Handbook… They have all fled to this show.

Let me get this straight – Underdog was a horrible experience that killed your brain cells but 30 minutes of unfunny gnome jokes makes a great podcast?

C’mon guys you can do better than that (if not please give the voicemail show its own feed so fans of Slice do not have to download it anymore).

Wow! Jeff is not feeling the gnome love.

Tragic yard ornament incident as a child Jeff?

We don’t make the voicemail man, we just play it and have fun where we can. Life is too short to not to enjoy yourself. 😉

William and Lee don’t have to both be cylons. Tigh got 6 pregnant but early on it was stated that cylons can’t have children with each other. That would mean that the final 5 are different and may very well produce normal children.

I thought the last 5 was the Admiral for a long time because of that “Adamas a cylon” comment (and a few other things) but started to think otherwise when it showed how involved he was in the old war and would mean lee would be half cylon. But if a 5 can get a normal cylon pregnant then the fact that Admiral Adama had children isn’t detracting from the possibility of him being the last 5. I real think it’s him again.

While I was in doubt of it being the Admiral I really started to think it was Zack Adama. I mean if he was a cylon the fact that he died once wouldn’t mean anything. And why would 4 of the 5 suddenly “wake up” but not the last one…unless the last one wasn’t on the ship at the time. But all that hinges on whether or not the 5 can resurrect like the other cylons. If they can I bet their chamber in on earth and that’s why “the 5 have been to earth” but I’m starting to think they can’t res at all.
