Slice of SciFi #138: Voicemail Show

December 14, 2007 By Summer Brooks 9 Comments

This Week’s Voicemail Show will be our last until after the first of the year. Time for all of us in the studio — Mike, Summer, Brian and Tim — to sit back and enjoy the upcoming holiday season. We will be back after New Years, but that shouldn’t stop you from calling in. For now just sit back and enjoy the show.

This is the show for our fans and listeners! Voicemails, emails, we want to hear your comments and feedback… No, really, we do! Pay no attention to how much Mike grumbles about them…

This week, Michael, Summer, Brian, and Tim respond to the questions posed by your voicemail submissions, and once again HERE THERE BE SPOILERS!!

Beware: Do not drink beverages while listening to this show. Your monitor will thank you.

Check out The Kick-Ass Mystic Ninjas for old-school scifi book and movie discussions; and don’t forget to visit The Zombie Channel, for news and information about surviving when zombies are around.

Pleasantly surprised to see the show posted on Friday night but the current file is only 19 seconds long…just the intro…oops. 🙂

I emailed them a couple of hours ago about the bad MP3 file – nada…
I hope it just got hosed on the upload and they’ve still got the original file to upload again =-)

It is after 5:00 now in AZ, so Mike is probably somewhere into his 3 or 4th beer by now – I won’t expect this to get fixed until sometime tomorrow afternoon

We are working on it. For some reason Podango won’t accept the file. I am currently trying to create a new file name, but podango keeps crashing. Be patient. We will get it working.

    Take it home Sam!!!

OK, we have it up and running…Summer had to go in and bypass podango until we can figure out what happen there.

So are you saying Mike has a problem drinking his beer? It sounds like he has NO problem drinking 🙂

i think this is proof that you guys need to kick podango, ever since you guys started using it, it’s been nothing but trouble.

Believe me, we had a ton more serious problems with our previous client. Once all the bugs get worked out podango will be a good fit for FPM.

Great idea you guys came up with for a scifi “reality” show. We pitched a show around the modern space age and were in Green Light at NBC–then we got bumped for the Bionic Woman. Who knew?

    T’Chris

Maybe we could get a “Pick Up the Darn Show” campaign going at NBC or ABC (the ABC Programming president said, “what a dumb show, who’d watch that?” “HELLO?! of course then she got transfered to ABC Family so….)
    ———
Guys I can send you the promo for it, but it’s not for publication yet
