Buzzy Multimedia proudly presents the unabridged audio book version of New York Times best-selling author Jim Butcher’s “SUMMER KNIGHT,” the fourth novel in his acclaimed Dresden Files series. James Marsters reads the tale of Chicago detective, and practicing wizard, Harry Dresden, who is drawn into investigating a murder in the world of Faerie that has the potential for literally Earth-shattering consequences. The 10-CD set is available April, 2007, list price $44.95. The books are available for purchase through Baker & Taylor and at the BuzzyMedia Website.

Marsters, famed for his years as Spike on “BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER” and “ANGEL,” has previously performed Buzzy Multimedia’s editions of Butcher’s earlier Dresden books, “STORM FRONT,” “FOOL MOON” and “GRAVE PERIL,” all of which have met with listener enthusiasm.

Butcher’s Dresden books have been adapted for television by Nicholas Cage’s production company Saturn Films, the resulting episodic series, THE DRESDEN FILES, is currently running on SciFi Channel.

I find the audio books oh so much more entertaining than the TV show. I wish they would run ads after the show for them, but I guess Buzzy doesn’t have that kind of money.
