Actress Michelle Rodriguez’s character Ana Lucia Cortez was quickly dispatched last season by Michael when he shot her in the bunker as part of a deal with the Others to get his son back. Now it is being reported by Access Hollywood that the character will be making a return to the Emmy winning ABC SF show in a series of flashback episodes.

Fans of the show can expect to see her again once the series resumes to close out its remaining episodes for Season Three in February.

Rodriquez has been a press firebrand with DUI charges, suspension of driving license and priviledges, some court-ordered jail time and most recently, a rumored love relationship with “Painkiller Jane” actress Kristanna Loken. It was earlier this year that Loken told “The Advocate” that her and Rodriguez were close friends, but would not comment with specifics when probed further by the interviewer.

Well, as is said in the entertainment industry “the only bad press is no press” and that seems highly unlikely where Rodriquez is concerned.
