Joel Gretsch, the star of the USA Network’s award winning hit “The 4400,” first burst on the SF scene in the critically acclaimed Steven Spielberg miniseries “Taken,” which co-starred Dakota Fanning.

He is also known for being a member of the family of one of entertainment’s royalty – Joel is the son-in-law of famed actor/author/songwriter William Shatner (married to Bill’s daughter Melanie for the last seven years). He and Melanie are the proud parents of a daughter.

On the big screen Joel starred opposite Will Smith as the famous golfer Bobby Jones in “The Legend of Bagger Vance,” “The Emperor’s Club” and could be seen with Tom Cruise in “Minority Report.”

Joel has appeared in scores of TV shows since 1992 ranging from “JAG” and “Married With Children” to “CSI: NY.”

His latest project is a thriller movie titled “The Good Mother” starring alongside Angie Harmon. The film is currently in post-production.
