More Special Serenity Showings

April 21, 2006 By News Droid Leave a Comment

More Browncoats from across America are coming forward with viewings of Joss Whedon’s great scifi hit “Serenity.” I just heard from David Adams of the New England Browncoats and he has informed me that, just as the SoCal Browncoats are featuring a showing of Serenity on June 23rd of this year, so is the East Coast.

Those not familiar with the importance to Browncoats of that date is the fact that June 23rd is Joss Whedon’s birthday, and therefore, the reason for this across the country celebration by fans and Browncoats.

The New England Browncoats screening will be held at The Coolidge Corner Theatre at 290 Harvard Street, Brookline, MA.

Tickets for seating sell at $8.50 with the proceeds to benefit Equality Now, an organization that works to end violence and discrimination against women and girls around the world.

Tickets for this special midnight event are on sale now at The Coolidge Corner Theatre Box Office or you can purchase them online at the Coolidge link listed above. When you enter the site click on the ticket link and choose event date June 23, 2006.

For more information you can contact The New England Browncoats.
