Dark Kingdom Giveaway Contest

March 17, 2006 By News Droid 2 Comments

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

Slice of SciFi, in partnership with The SciFi Channel and New Media Strategies, is offering up a new contest exclusively for our listeners of the show and visitors to our SoSF Website. This contest giveaway is in conjunction with the premiere of The SciFi Channel’s showing of “Dark Kingdom: The Dragon King.”

We will be giving away to our first place winner a stunning prop necklace that will be featured in the miniseries which stars Benno Furmann (My House in Umbria), Kristanna Loken (Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines) and the legendary international superstar Max Von Sydow. Second and third place winners drawn will receive a special SciFi Channel T-Shirt.

There will be one drawback to this giveaway contest. Due to certain mailing restrictions only our U.S. listeners will be allowed to enter. Sorry kids, don’t be angry with us and drown us in angry voicemails, that part wasn’t our decision. So, to all our worldwide listeners, stay tuned, I have no doubt that sometime in the future we will have something that everyone can participate in.

Here are the details on how to enter:

Simply send us an email at the special Dark Kingdom Contest Giveaway Email Address that Mike, Evo and the Kick-Ass Mystic Ninjas will announce on our next show on March 21st. That’s this coming Tuesday – Show #049. Be sure to include your name, real mailing address and zip code so we know where to mail your prize.

That’s all there is to it. We will draw three email entries from a hat one at a time with the first being our Grand Prize Winner of this cool necklace (pictured below).

The contest begins on the air date of Show #049 (March 21, 2006) and ends March 25, 2006 during our next recording session. “Dark Kingdom: The Dragon King” begins airing on The SciFi Channel on March 27, 2006 and we will announce all three winners on our March 28, 2006 Slice of SciFi Show #050.

Remember, to get the special Dark Kingdom Giveaway Contest email address to be able to send us your email, you must listen to the Slice of SciFi Show #049 air date March 21, 2006. Good Luck to everyone!

(NOTE: To our U.S. XM-Satellite Radio listeners: To be able to take advantage of this offer you must listen to the podcast of the show. The XM feed is always one week behind the podcast feed and by the time you hear it on the show the contest will be over.)
